Where requirements are more complex — a local wallet, installment plan, or COD flow their template doesn’t support, an ERP or loyalty system that isn’t in their app directory, or a distinctive storefront the app version flattens into the same layout every other store ships with — that’s when a custom build costs less than the workarounds.

Custom build or app builder?
Depends on your requirements. Builders are fast and cheap and often the right call. Custom makes sense when the template can’t carry what you need. We work that out first.
When does an app template stop working?
When it needs too much configuration, can’t support high traffic, can’t support a local payment method you need, can’t connect to your ERP or loyalty system, or flattens your brand into a stock layout.
Do we need an existing store first?
If you want to use the app builder, yes. The app is built from your storefront, so the catalogue and checkout logic need to exist. If it’s a custom app built from scratch, no. We gather the requirements and develop the app natively on iOS and Android.
